The Automata consistently transport the maximum number of ground units to reinforce the sector. However, there is an exception for the Expansive behavior, which specifies (see page 17) to move a single infantry.
In cases of tiebreak, following unit priority.
The Automata does not execute any Watcher actions.
During setup, add X elite tactic cards to the Automata deck based on the difficulty setting. Store any excess elite tactic cards in the Elite pile.
Whenever you add an elite tactic card to the Automata deck, remove the corresponding non-elite tactic card from the deck and place it in the reserve pile. Then, reshuffle the deck.
The Automata may acquire elite tactic cards through Colonization effects or other in-game effects.
When the automata gains a new AI protocol card during its first action, the card is placed on top of the AI Protocol discard pile. Following this, the Automata performs its second action for the turn and resolves the row with the second red arrow using the new behavior.
As stated in the rulebook (page 14), when the Automata plays an action card corresponding to the slot number on the Action display, a new action card is immediately drawn and placed face-down.
The Automata moves the storm following the last AI Protocol Card from the discard pile.
